I sat through the first hour of this film trying to decide if I liked it or hated it, expecting a masterpiece from the favourable reviews I had read. Rape, swearing, violence, blood, guts, killing etc. to be expected in a film like this, but what does not seem acceptable is the apparent child abuse which takes place approximately half way through the film, an obviously distressed 6 month old child screaming with fear as a gun is held against it - unlike the adults and older children in the scenes who are there to "act" this child is not "acting. not sure how this is acceptable for the sake of the art of film making. Anyway this scene decided it for me and confirmed my conclusion that it was a rambling, incoherent, pointless waste of time.
